Fatih

The district of Fatih is located in the south of Istanbul;neighbour to Eminonu and along the cost of Golden Horn in asian side . Since Bysantium and Ottoman Period, Fatih has always been a center or the Empires and had significance roles. The district gets its name from Soltan Mehmet the Conqueror. The words conqueror means "Fatih " in Turkish.

Fatih is the richest district which reflects the glory of Ottoman empire and Islamic reflections. Many mosques, kulliyes, madrasahs are is Fatih.
