Soda Istanbul – Cool contemporary art space
Soda Istanbul is by far my favorite contemporary art and design space in Istanbul. Located in Nisantasi this small, cosy and cool art space hosts globally rising artists exhibitions as well as designers works.

Photographer Christophe Jacrot's very impressive 'Sound of rain' exhibit and Derrick Santini's 'literally' eye-cathcing exhibition 'The Magpie' are the latest exhibitions I attended at Soda. Sodamore is outside of the main exhibtion gallery where you can see an interesting collection of contemporary art jewelery. 'ODA' which means room in Turkish is also a seperate part of the art gallery where you can see the creative installations of Turkish and foreign artists. Some art talks are also organized at Soda and you can even watch these gatherings online. You can check out Soda's current exhibitions from their website. |
